Fast diagnosis. Upfront fixed pricing.
Flushing properly the same day.
A blocked toilet is the kind of problem that doesn't politely wait. You need a working bathroom and you need it sorted today. T.U.R.D.S Plumbing unblocks toilets across Brisbane's Northside and the Moreton Bay region.
Blocked toilets come from all sorts of things: wipes that were never meant to be flushed, kids' toys, build-up in the s-bend, or a deeper issue in the sewer line. Whatever the cause, we'll diagnose it properly and fix it the first time. No half-fixes.
Don't keep flushing. Don't pour chemicals down it. Pick up the phone and we'll get it sorted.
A blocked toilet isn't something you can put off until tomorrow. You've got a household that needs a working bathroom, and every hour that goes by makes the problem worse.
T.U.R.D.S Plumbing is a local, family-owned Northside business with 16 years in the industry. Our vans carry CCTV drain cameras, high-pressure water jetters, and electric drain machines, so when we arrive we diagnose the problem before quoting. You know what you're paying before we lift a tool. Upfront fixed pricing. No hidden fees. No surprises on the invoice.
We're available 24/7 for emergency blocked toilets across Brisbane's Northside and the Moreton Bay region. If the toilet blocks at 11pm on a Sunday, we're still the call to make.
Toilets are designed to handle one thing reliably: human waste and a sensible amount of toilet paper. Anything else is asking for trouble. Some causes are obvious. Others build quietly until one flush is the one that doesn't go down.
The cause matters because it changes the fix. A foreign object near the bowl is a quick job. A root invasion in the sewer line is a CCTV inspection followed by jetting. That's why we don't quote a price until we've worked out what's actually happening.

Most blocked toilets give you warning before they fully back up. Catching the signs early can save you a much bigger mess.
Some blocked toilets shift with a plunger and a bit of patience. Others need a plumber with the right equipment. Call us when:
Not sure which one applies? Give us a quick call. We'll ask a few questions over the phone and let you know if you can handle it yourself or if we need to come out.
First rule: stop flushing. The toilet can't process what's already there. Adding more water just risks an overflow onto the bathroom floor, which turns a plumbing problem into a clean-up nightmare.
Skip the chemical drain cleaners. They rarely shift a real blockage in a toilet, they can damage older pipes and porcelain, and they make the job harder for the plumber who arrives afterwards. Hot water is fine. Chemicals are not.
If all the drains are backing up around the toilet avoid using any fixtures through your sewer system this is a sign you have a main line blockage you need a plumber .
Then give us a call. We'll work through a quick assessment and get someone on the way.
Renting? We handle rental jobs all the time. We provide a clear invoice and (if needed) a brief written report you can share with your property manager or landlord. We'll let you know on site whether the cause sits with the tenant or the property owner.
We bring the right tools to every job. No guessing. No "let's try this and see."
For recurring blockages or anything where the cause isn't obvious from the bowl, we run a CCTV camera through the toilet line to see exactly what's going on.
You see what we see. No repairs proceed without a price and your approval. See our CCTV drain camera inspections page for more.
When the issue is deeper than the s-bend, think main sewer line, root invasion, or hard build-up further down, jetting is the answer.
High-pressure water clears the full pipe circumference and flushes the line completely clean. More on our high-pressure water jetting page.
Sometimes a plunge and plumbers knowledge is all you need to get back up and going, from there we can identify why the blockage may have occurred and advise how to avoid it next time.

A toilet that blocks repeatedly almost always points to something past the bowl: tree root intrusion in the sewer line, a partial pipe collapse, or a build-up that won't shift with a plunger. A CCTV inspection finds the cause so we can fix it properly, rather than clearing the same blockage every few weeks.
Sometimes. A heavy paper jam can soften over an hour or two and flush through. If it hasn't cleared after that, it won't sort itself. Calling a plumber is the next move.
We charge upfront fixed pricing for every job. Once we've had a quick look on site, we give you the full price before any work starts. Call us on 0429 359 081 for a price on your situation.
We'd recommend against it. Chemical cleaners rarely shift a real blockage, can damage older pipes and porcelain, and create a hazardous mix for whoever clears the toilet afterwards. Hot water and a plunger are safer. If those don't work, call us.
It can, especially if you keep flushing. If water is rising in the bowl, stop flushing and turn the water off at the stop valve behind or below the toilet. That stops any further water entering the cistern.
Air is getting back through the pipe instead of the water flowing through cleanly. Usually it means a partial blockage further down the line, or a venting issue. Worth getting checked before it becomes a full blockage.
No. "Flushable" wipes don't break down like toilet paper. They cause more blockages than any other single product we see. Bin them.
