Generally, the property owner is responsible for the stormwater system from the roof and yard up to the legal point of discharge (usually the council main or a kerb outlet). Anything past that point sits with the council. We can confirm where the boundary falls during the assessment.
For repairs to existing lines, usually no. For new installations, including shed and structure connections, Moreton Bay Council requires a Form 43 plumbing certificate. We handle the lodgement as part of the job.
Often, yes. If the pipe is structurally intact enough to take a liner, relining avoids excavation and finishes the job in less time. CCTV tells us whether it's an option. Where the pipe has collapsed or is heavily fractured, replacement is the only real fix.
